While daddy is away mommy and baby bubba will play, ha ha!! We recently were invited to attend a play group by another SF wife (her husband is on Michael's team) and we had such a great time! Parker was the youngest but with how big he is and his ability to walk you couldn't really tell, ha ha! He had a great time and I had a blast visiting with the other moms. So we will definitely be going back. We have also enjoyed having play time with our friends Katie and her son Ethan. That is the wonderful mother that invited us to play group!!! So we really have been keeping busy and we have made so many new friends. Parker said "ball" the other day he carries around this soft football all the time and so I'm constantly saying ball to him well the other day he just said it back!!! Every time I say ball he will actually walk over and get it, my little smarty pants. Luckily daddy called right after and he said it for daddy over the phone. Our little man is growing up so fast. He is like a little sponge right now soaking up every thing he can. He is such an observant child, I watched him watching a little boy at play group play with this toy and then Parker walked over and was trying to do the same thing the boy was doing. It was so cool to see him learning. I am amazed how much he is like Michael in that way, if you know Michael you know he picks up things very fast and Parker seems to be the same way. Thank goodness he takes after his dad because goodness knows it takes me time after time after time to get something down, ha ha!!! I am excited to visit KC in a week and extremely excited to see my hubby in three weeks!
Our family started when Michael and I met in the summer of 2003. We fell deeply in love and married on April 20, 2006. We have been truly blessed and the BEST blessing that has happened to us is the birth of our baby boy Parker Gabriel Keenan. He was born on September 28, 2008 at 2am weighing 10.2 lbs and measuring 23 inches long. He is so amazing and Michael and I cherish every moment with him, never knowing when Michael might be deployed makes the time even sweeter. We love God and truly are trying to raise Parker to have a strong relationship with his maker. We miss our family but we are so thankful to be stationed closer to them. God is good!
