As you can see from the pictures we have had a blast in Kansas City!! I am always sad to leave, it is extremely hard not to live close to family. Even more so now that we have Parker. BUT I am excited to return home and see Michael it has been three weeks now since I have seen him. I know he is dying to get his hands on his baby boy. While we were in KC we celebrated Papa's birthday at Chuckie Cheese, oh the things Papa's will do for thier grandbabies=) Parker was a little overwhelmed at first but actually started to enjoy some of the rides. It was so wonderful to see him get excited when the ride would start up it was priceless. I was so happy that we got to spend time with my mom's side and my dad's side of the family! We celebrated my Aunt's last treatment of chemo WOO HOO by going out to lunch, it was wonderful to see her she is one tough woman! We also enjoyed some quality time with Michael's side of the family but of course I forgot to take a camera (not mine because as always I left it at home in TN) so I don't have any pictures. Hopefully I can get some and post them on here. Parker enjoyed watching his cousins run around and play, one day soon he will be able to join in=) Speaking of running around, Parker took his first steps. He was holding on to the couch and wanted to reach his Nana so he turned around and took two steps to get to her!!! It was exciting and scary all in one. Because with walking comes bumps and bruises and I just don't think I am ready for that. Hopefully it will be a little while longer before he is up and walking. He really shows no interest in crawling he just wants to pull up and stand. I was happy that Nana and Papa got to see it but sad that Michael missed out. It was such a great visit but as always I am extremely sad to leave=(

About Me
- babykeenan
- Our family started when Michael and I met in the summer of 2003. We fell deeply in love and married on April 20, 2006. We have been truly blessed and the BEST blessing that has happened to us is the birth of our baby boy Parker Gabriel Keenan. He was born on September 28, 2008 at 2am weighing 10.2 lbs and measuring 23 inches long. He is so amazing and Michael and I cherish every moment with him, never knowing when Michael might be deployed makes the time even sweeter. We love God and truly are trying to raise Parker to have a strong relationship with his maker. We miss our family but we are so thankful to be stationed closer to them. God is good!
