16 weeks! I had to laugh when I pulled out this shirt to wear this morning thinking it would be loose fitting. It was one of my nice "loose" fitting shirts before I was pregnant. I guess I just assumed it would still fit the same. After a few tugs and pulls it fit a little better but as you can see still not loose fitting, ha ha! Just had to share my funny moment this morning.

Here we are at 15 and half weeks. Baby Keenan will be 16 weeks on Tues. I know I am beginning to look bigger by the day, at least it feels like it. I am wearing my cute new khaki pants thanks to my wonderful mother! I should have gained around 5 to 7 pounds by now and I have gained around 8-9 pounds. But I have to say I think maternity pants make me look bigger=) Don't expect me to update you on how much weight I gain every week, ha ha! We are still doing great!

Well I have officially been feeling the so called "flutters." It feels almost like a twitch in my belly and I love feeling it knowing that baby Keenan is in there moving around=) Michael and I were pretty excited tonight to hear the baby's heartbeat on our at home monitor "bebe sounds." Nanny Nae sent it to us when I was only eight weeks pregnant and we have been trying now for awhile to hear the heartbeat with no luck. We thought since I was at 15 weeks and really starting to look pregnant we should give a try tonight. AND it worked!!! We both listened for a long time with just utter amazement. There are no words to describe the feeling of hearing a heartbeat inside of your own body and knowing that out of love you have created this living being that will one day call you mom and dad. AMAZING, I think I have used that word a million times now on my blog, but I think it just describes what I am feeling about all of this. Physically I have been feeling pretty good except for the occasional headache, which seems to be massive when it does come=( I am wearing maternity clothes to work now. I am excited to look pregnant but I can't say I am dying to wear maternity clothes, ha ha! Everything is still going well and I will be posting a new belly pic here soon, so keep looking. So here we are at 13 weeks. I feel like I am growing bigger by the minute, YIKES! I was going to post new belly pics every two weeks but today a teacher at my school said "WOW! Jamie you have really popped in the past week!" So I decided to witness this myself and post a pic to compare and I admit it I'm showing more and more everyday. I love trying to find things to wear in the morning, so does Michael as I throw clothes around the room, ha ha! Well we will see how much bigger I get in the next couple of weeks.

12-13 week OBGYN visit

So we went to the OBGYN today and heard the heartbeat for the first time! It was truly amazing. The heartbeat was nice and strong and she had no problem finding it. Baby and mom are still doing fantastic. I always look forward to my midwife visits so that I can know baby is still doing great. It was a wonderful feeling to hear our lil baby Keenan's heartbeat. We find out the sex of the baby on April 28th and we can't wait!!!

Well here it is the so called "belly pic" and as you can tell there is a belly, ha ha! So we are at 12 weeks right now and I'm beginning to think my clothes are shrinking, ha ha! I will try to post new belly pics once a week at least every two weeks. I will be back on after our appointment on Friday. Thank you for the wonderful messages!

Still doing great!

Well we are not far away from being in our 12th week and everything is still going great. I honestly have been feeling pretty good. Fortunately I have not been sick at all but have had some terrible headaches. The baby bump looks a little bigger and clothes are beginning to feel pretty tight =) I have an appointment on Friday with my midwife to make sure baby is still progressing the way he/she needs to be. We will find out the sex of the baby the first week in May. Well I will be back on here Friday to update everyone on baby Keenan. Keep us in your prayers.
