Baby Keenan's first photo shoot at nine weeks! Already has Daddy's big brain, ha ha!!

Very Excited!

Well I am new at this blogging thing so I'm sure this page will get better with time! As I am sure you know by now Michael and I are expecting our first baby and couldn't be more excited! I thought this was a great way to keep our families connected with us throughout this magical journey. BabyKeenan is due on Septemeber 23 which makes me 10 weeks right now. We are praying everything continues to go as smooth as it has so far. We have seen BabyKeenan three times now, and it is overwhlemingly exciting everytime we see the baby. Michael was away for training last week when I had an ultrasound to see the baby and the heartbeat. I was sad he couldn't be there so my amazing midwife scheduled another ultrasound so Michael could see the baby and it's amazing heartbeat. So today we saw the baby and the heart was beating 171 beats per minute and babykeenan was wiggly, moving all around. I have a feeling this is going to be a busy baby, but then again he has a Daddy that can't sit still for more than two seconds. With every week that goes by the thought having a baby becomes more real and more exciting. I have a slight baby bump but not showing too much yet. I hope everyone enjoys this blog and I will do my best to keep you updated weekly on our progress. Michael and I are overjoyed to share this with our loved ones. So it begins.........!!!

About Me

My photo
Our family started when Michael and I met in the summer of 2003. We fell deeply in love and married on April 20, 2006. We have been truly blessed and the BEST blessing that has happened to us is the birth of our baby boy Parker Gabriel Keenan. He was born on September 28, 2008 at 2am weighing 10.2 lbs and measuring 23 inches long. He is so amazing and Michael and I cherish every moment with him, never knowing when Michael might be deployed makes the time even sweeter. We love God and truly are trying to raise Parker to have a strong relationship with his maker. We miss our family but we are so thankful to be stationed closer to them. God is good!
